Inside the temple, the sanctum sanctorum houses the presiding deity, Lord Avudainayakan, in the form of a lingam. The lingam is a symbol of Lord Shiva’s cosmic energy and is worshipped with great reverence by devotees. The temple complex also includes several other shrines dedicated to various deities such as Goddess Parvati, Lord Vishnu, Lord Murugan, and Lord Ganesha.
